Tommaso Carlini was born in Civitavecchia and completed his
musical studies at the Music Conservatory "Santa Cecilia" in
Rome, in the piano class of Maestro Francesco Martucci and
under his teaching he graduated with highest honors, praise
and special artistic mention also receiving several awards
such as the Premio via Vittoria, the piano prize of regione
Afterwards he improves with Giovanni Bellucci and Aldo
Ciccolini and attended masterclasses by Michele Campanella,
Yves Henry, Marc Laforet, Elisa Virsaladze and Leslie Howard.
He has performed as soloist with the orchestra in concert
halls both in Italy and abroad, including where: academy of
France at the Villa Medici in Rome, Parco della Musica in
Rome, the auditorium of the Conservatories of Rome and
Palermo, sala della protomoteca of the Campidoglio in Rome,
Hungarian Institute of Paris, the theater " Equinoxe"
He has participated in several festivals such as the Piano
Festival in Rome, Umbria music fest, the festival
"Sconfinando" in Sarzana, the festival Lisztomanias Chateauroux (in the academie jeunes Virtuoses).
He recently took part in the project " Liszt in Rome" DVD produced by musicologist Gaia Vazzoler in collaboration with Michele Campanella and Mario Bortolotto.
Also active as a jazz drummer, has played in Italy and abroad (Parco della Musica in Rome, the Pergola Theatre in Florence, Casa del Jazz in Rome, Bourges festival " in un'ete Bourges .. ) collaborating with musicians such as Francesco Bruno, Enzo Pietropaoli, Xavier Girotto, Pierpaolo Principato, Alexander Gwis and Luca Pirozzi, Mario Corvini has participated in several projects such as the OJVC
(jazz orchestra Villa Celimontana) or CD- DVD "The other words" the guitarist Francesco Bruno dedicated to the journalist Tiziano Terzani and published by L'Espresso
