After graduating in double bass, under the guidance of
M°D.Roccato he improved further with M.A.Sciancalepore (first double bassist of the National Academy of Santa Cecilia),
M°G.Ettorre (first double bassist of the "Alla Scala" Theatre), and M°F.Petracchi.
He has worked with the Symphony Orchestra of Umbria and Perugia, the Orchestra Musica Riva Festival, the Liric Theatre of Spoleto, the Symphony Orchestra of Rome. He has tourned in Japan, France and Greece.
In parallel, he has undertaken succesful work in the field of chamber music playing in several italian festivals, collaborating, as a soloist too, in many sessions with both international and italian artists.
He has played in the role of first double bassist in many lyrical-symphonic productions performing concerts throughout Italy and abroad. In 2007, some excerpts of his project "Listen to music", organized in concerts-lessons for the schools students, has been broadcasted for RAI1 channel.
He has always been keenly active in teaching ensemble music and basic jazz theory at important schools in Rome.
As a researcher he is attentive to the recovery of italian music, especially the music of Domenico Dragonetti double-bassist composer who lived abridge the eighteenth and nineteenth century, performin in radio program, original works of the same, recorded and broadcasted from radio vaticana.
Is the author of the collection "Solos for double bass", published and distributed by the publisher "Carisch", contening Domenico Dragonetti's unpublished compositions.
